Full-time residential care in a homely environment
Our 16 homes provide full-time residential care, including assistance with personal care, nutrition and health, transport and money management. It is a core tenet of our organisation’s philosophy that our properties retain the character of a loving home environment.
Our Educare centres provide day care and early learning for children with disabilities in our residential facilities and surrounding communities. For most of these children, this is the only educational facility available to them where staff are trained to cater for their very specific needs.
Our independent cottages cater to persons who do not require 24-hour care, but still need a safe and protected environment to call home. Most of these residents are employed and self-sufficient, but are still able to enjoy the interaction and activities that the homes offer to all.
Our sub-acute rehabilitation centre in Ethekwini acts as a step-down facility for those recently disabled; here they receive the necessary therapies and counselling to prepare them for the next phase of their lives.
The majority of our homes contain a guest room to accommodate visiting family members and to provide short-term respite care. These rooms allow families and caregivers to have temporary relief from full-time caring duties.
